The library will host a gathering for the yarn crafters, “Knit & Crochet for a Cause,” on Sunday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m.

Participants can bring their knitting needles, crochet hooks and yarn, and the library will provide a selection of patterns.

There are no set requirements, but St. Vincent's has requested items in colors and patterns suitable for men.

Once the projects are completed, the library staff will mail them to the medical center.

Provided there is enough interest, the craft event will be turned into a monthly club.

To register, call 203-452-2850, or click here.

The library is located at 733 Monroe Turnpike.
