Easton To Decide Fate Of Bradley-Hubbell Homestead

EASTON, Conn. — The Historical Society of Easton is reaching out to the public as it decides the fate of the Bradley-Hubbell Homestead, a two-centuries-old property overlooking the Aspetuck Reservoir, according to the Easton Courier.

The Board of Directors is trying to decide whether the group has enough funds to provide for the upkeep of the homestead and for the Adams School House, said the Easton Courier.

Despite the board’s fundraising events such as last fall's Revolutionary War re-enactment, it has not raised money enough to support future renovations, as well as ongoing maintenance at both properties, the Courier said.

If interested in helping or voicing an opinion, call 203-581-0850 or email hseastonct@gmail.com, added the Easton Courier.
