For the first time ever, the Monroe Economic Development Commission (EDC) is serving up its first annual “Monroe Restaurant Week,” a seven day promotion starting Monday, Oct. 16 to Sunday, Oct. 22.
Value priced dining will take place at a variety of establishments ranging from fine dining to fast casual. In other words, expect pre-fixed menus, discount or reduced prices.
“Restaurant Week is a terrific opportunity for us to introduce restaurants to new guests and a great way to revisit restaurants if you’re a regular guest to try something different on their menu," said Donna Verdisco, EDC chairman.
Added Steve Vavrek, First Selectman of Monroe: “We’re really putting ourselves on the map as a dining destination in Fairfield County.”
