Veronica's Garden, Wave Hill Breads, Geremia Gardens, Fresh Pastabilities and Carrot Top Kitchens (CTK) are among the vendors who set up shop at the market.
Wave Hill Breads from Norwalk brings an array of loaves of fresh bread. "Make sure you try our monkey bread, it's really delicious," said vendor John Schumacher. "It is freshly made!" And the mouth-watering glazed bread sells out every week, he said.
At Veronica's Garden, they set out baskets of fresh vegetables, including plump tomatoes, squash, yellow and green zucchini, corn and much more.
Over at Geremia Gardens you have cherry tomatoes, gluten-free loaves, fresh greens along with other treats.
At Fresh Pastabilities, you can sample the goat cheese and portobello ravioli steeped in a portobello cream sauce. They make fresh pasta in many other flavor combinations — including sausage, roasted red pepper, Asiago, pumpkin and more. All the pastas come in a vacuum-sealed packaging that's ready to drop into water for a quick, delicious meal.
Carrot Top Kitchens is famous for its mouth-watering pickles, which have won blue ribbons at many functions. They also sell an array of different flavors of spreads that often sell out at the market.
The farmers market is every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4 Old Mill Road, Redding. For more information, you can also visit the Facebook page.
