Village Of Nichols Honors Veterans With Memorial Day Flag Raising

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- The Village of Nichols will host a special flag raising and ceremony in memory of the village's veterans who have served the country and lost their lives.

Girl Scouts will perform at a special Memorial Day flag raising ceremony May 30 in the Village of Nichols.

Girl Scouts will raise the flag at 8 a.m. Monday, followed by a special dedication honoring a Nichols area veteran.

The village is looking to expand the list of Nichols service men and women who have served in the U.S. military and have lost their lives in active duty.
