MONROE, Conn. – Interested in networking but have a resume that’s less than sparkling? A two-part Advanced Resumes & Coaching free workshop is being offered Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe.
Participants must bring their latest resume inclusive of a fine-tuned “summary statement,” which should be two paragraphs long and resemble an “elevator speech.”
The resume should include an “experience” section listing highlights from the last eight to 10 years, followed by an “education” section, with dates included, and professional memberships with years of service.
