Sign Up For A Hands-On Virtual Reality Program At Library In Monroe

MONROE, Conn. -- The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe is hosting a program called "Technology in 3D: Hands-on Virtual Reality Workshop for Adults."

It will be from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Ehlers Meeting Room at the library.

Join the library as it assembles its own shared Google Cardboard viewers, and play with several new virtual reality applications. 

There also will be a discussion about other related technologies and the role they will be playing in people's lives. 

It will be presented by Tom Bruno, author of "Wearable Technology: Smart Watches to Google Glass for Libraries." 

Registration is required. If possible, please bring a smartphone or other smart device and be ready to share.
