Redding Boy Scout Troop Celebrating Eagle Scout Milestone

REDDING, Conn. -- Redding Boy Scout Troop 15 will host a public event Saturday to celebrate the milestone of having more than 100 past and present members earn the rank of Eagle Scout. The celebration will take place on the Redding Town Green.

The afternoon/evening events will include a formal awards ceremony and displays of scouting memorabilia and troop history, a traditional scout campfire and a bluegrass concert.

The afternoon/evening events will include a formal awards ceremony and displays of scouting memorabilia and troop history, a traditional scout campfire and a bluegrass concert.

The event schedule is as follows:

1 p.m. – Event opens
2 to 4 p.m. – Formal ceremony
Intermission – Traditional Boy Scout campfire
6:15 to 8:30 p.m. – Bluegrass concert

All are welcome to attend, and admission is free.
