The free event is at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30. End-of-life decisions are an important consideration for adults of all ages. There’s never a better time than now to make the plans that will spare relatives and friends the burden of making difficult, often costly, decisions at a time of sorrow and crisis.

With openness, straight-forward information and even a little humor, Patricia Carr of the Connecticut Funeral Alliance will explain essential aspects of planning ahead and including preparation of wills and living wills; conveying wishes to family and/or close friends, and controlling funeral costs.
