Middle East Expert To Discuss U.S.-Middle East Relations At Monroe Library

MONROE, Conn. -- There will be a talk on the history of U.S. diplomacy in the Middle East at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe on Tuesday, April 19, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Matthew Dunne, instructor of political science and history at Housatonic Community College, will discuss “An Elusive Peace: U.S. and Middle East Relations, 1945-9/11” with special emphasis on the decolonization in the region, and America’s role in the creation of Israel.
