Join Trumbull's Nichols Garden Club For Free Session On Flowering Shrubs

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Just in time for spring planting, Trumbull's Nichols Garden Club is hosting a free presentation on "New Flowering Shrubs for a Fabulous and Easy Care Garden," on Tuesday, March 8.

Brid Craddock will run the presentation. She's a landscape designer for Growing Solutions, an all-organic design and construction firm in Fairfield County. She also assists her husband, Harvey Pessin, the owner of Heirloom Gardens, a private nursery in Newtown. Check out photos of her designs and projects at her website.

Here's the run-down of the evening's event:

  • 7 p.m. -- meet and greet, social time, and refreshments
  • 7:30 p.m. -- presentation
  • 8 p.m. -- business meeting
