Housatonic Instructor To Present Middle East Talk At Monroe Library

MONROE, Conn. -- The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library is hosting a lecture on U. S./Middle East Relations on Tuesday, April 19, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Matthew Dunne, instructor of political science and history at Housatonic Community College, will discuss the history of U.S. and Middle East relations since 1945, with special emphasis on decolonization in the region, America’s role in the creation of Israel and U.S. foreign policy in the region from the 1950s to 9/11.
