Friday Fest Night Is Special Event For Redding Kids, Teens

REDDING, Conn. -- The Boys & Girls Club of Redding and Easton will host a Friday Fest Night at the Redding Community Center for kids and teens in grades 5-8 Friday, Jan. 22.

All students, including home-schoolers and private school students, are invited to attend the event, which offers plenty of fun, including:

  • DJ Brian Donnelly
  • 9 Square in the Air
  • Super Mario Bros Brawl
  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Four-Square
  • Movie
  • Board Games

The event is from 4-7 p.m. at the center, 37 Lonetown Road, Redding. Tickets are $11 and include pizza. Kids should being cash for treats, drinks and T-shirts ($5). 

You must pre-register to attend as only 150 kids will be admitted. The first 100 kids to register will be placed in a drawing to win a Kindle Fire Tablet

Kids also will be encouraged to take the Boys & Girls Club of America's pledge to serve their community at least one hour in 2016.

Volunteer parent Stacey Cleary is working on arranging busing from JRMS to the event, but parents should contact her directly at staceycleary5@yahoo.com. Those who do not make arrangements well in advance of the event should not expect a bus ride.
