The event will include discussion of the propaganda films produced by Leni Riefenstahl for Hitler during the 1930s, which have influenced commercials, political boosters and sales pitches the world over.

Author and historian Mark Albertson returns to the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library to examine these films and explain how Riefenstahl’s technique can be seen to this day.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Registration is required. Contact the library at 203-452-2850 or visit their website to register. Attendees do not have to read the Monroe Reads Together book for this event.
