TRUMBULL, Conn. – Lace up your sneakers and get ready for the Christmas Village 5K Run and Family Fitness Walk on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. in Trumbull
The race starts and finishes at the Bridgeport PAL Christmas Village at the PAL Complex, 2 Quarry Road, Trumbull.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Race and walk begins at 10 a.m. followed by the awards ceremony at 11:30 a.m.
Refreshments will be provided by Liquid Lunch of Shelton.
Pre-registered runners will receive a race t-shirt. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first overall male and female runners.
Pre-registration is $17 and ends Wednesday, race-day registration is $20 and participants 70 and older and children under 10 are free. Click here to register. Race will be held snow, rain or shine; entry fees are non-refundable.
The 5K Run and Walk will benefit the Connecticut Sound Drum & Bugle Corps.
