Located on Victoria Drive, construction on the 150,0000-square-foot facility is expected to begin construction in June, said the Connecticut Post. A Walmart spokesman told the Connecticut Post that the store will employ about 300 people and take about a year to open from when construction begins, added the Connecticut Post.
The store is part of a larger development planned for the area called the Shops at Victoria Place that the developer, the Kimball Group, hopes will house 22 stores, said the Connecticut Post.
