Employee Accused Of Intentionally Setting Fire At Restaurant In Region An employee of a Western Massachusetts restaurant is accused of intentionally setting the building on fire over the weekend. Authorities in Berkshire County received a report of a fire at Olde Forge Restaurant, located at 125 North Main St. in Lanesborough, at about 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, according to the Lanesborough Police Department. The Cheshire, Dalton, Hancock, and Hinsdale fire departments responded to assist the Lanesborough Fire Department and found fire coming from the back of the building. 32-Year-Old CT Man Killed In Head-On Crash, Police Say An investigation is underway after a 32-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a head-on crash in Massachusetts. Troopers received reports of a serious head-on crash on Route 8 in the Berkshire County town of Sandisfield at about 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 20, according to Massachusetts State Police. Police said the crash happened near the 7.3 mile marker.
