Hartford Duo Nabbed During Carjacking Of BMW From Online Sell, Police Say Two men have been charged with allegedly carjacking a man at gunpoint when they met with him about purchasing a BMW he posted online to sell. The incident took place in Fairfield at the TJ Maxx parking lot located at 425 Tunxis Hill Cutoff around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26. According to Lt. Michael Paris of the Fairfield Police, the man met with two men in the store parking lot in an attempt to sell his car. Two Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries In CT Crash Two people were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Fairfield County. Police responded to the crash in the town of Fairfield at the intersection of Commerce Drive and Coolidge Street at about 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, according to the Fairfield Police Department. Investigators found that a motorcycle traveling south on Coolidge Street entered the intersection and collided with a van that was westbound on Commerce Drive, police said.
