Cliffside Park Coach, Board of Ed Secretary Francine Intemann Dies At 64
CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Francine E. (De Blasio) Intemann, of Cliffside Park, died on on Friday, March 3. She was 64.
Intemann worked for the Cliffside Park School District, beginning as a bus driver and aide, then eventually secretary, over a 20-year career.
"She was a devoted coach to her sons' soccer and little league teams, and a mother to all those who didn't have one," information from the funeral home noted.
"She genuinely cared about others and gave of herself whenever possible," her son Anthony Intemann noted on Saturday.

NORTHVALE, N.J. -- Get your baseball gear ready, young folks: baseball season is nearly upon us, and tryouts for Northern Valley Knights baseball will be held next Saturday morning, March 11, at Rob DeBrino's Baseball and Softball Academy, in Northvale.
"It's definitely the greatest game on dirt," DeBrino opined.
The Northern Valley Knights have replaced individual town travel baseball in Harrington Park, Northvale, Norwood and Old Tappan. It's also a feeder program for the Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan.

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Matthew J. Koziol, of Cliffside Park, died on Friday, March 3. He was 90.
Born in Brooklyn, Koziol lived in Bayonne and Jersey City, before he and his wife settled in Cliffside Park, where they lived together for over 60 years. He played baseball in high school and was offered an opportunity to try out for the then-New York Giants.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Vincent J. "Jimmy" Giannone, of Fair Lawn, died on Wednesday, March 1. He was 93.
Born and raised in Paterson, Giannone lived in West Paterson and Clifton for many years prior to settling in Fair Lawn a year ago. Before he retired, he was the owner and operator of T&G Trucking Company, in Paterson, for many years.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was an avid wine maker, who enjoyed boxing and frequenting the Meadowlands Race Track.

Frank Micciche, 83, Paramus Resident
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Frank Micciche -- a Paramus resident, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights -- died on Friday, March 3. He was 83.
Before he retired, Micciche was a self-employed builder. He owned Frank Micciche Construction, in Hasbrouck Heights, for over 40 years.
