Raymond J. Gordon, 30, also know as "X-Ray" pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of distribution of heroin.
According to court documents, on Dec. 10, 2016, Stratford Police and emergency medical personnel responded to a home after receiving reports of an unresponsive 22-year-old woman. The woman, who was in her bedroom, was pronounced dead, and officers found wax folds containing heroin, a hypodermic needle and other drug paraphernalia in the bedroom.
Investigators also seized the victim's cell phone, and discovered that the victim had purchased heroin from Gordon shortly before she died, according to Daly.
Gordon has been detained since his arrest on May 16. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 21, at which time he faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Bridgeport High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force and the Stratford Police Department. It stems from an ongoing statewide initiative targeting narcotics dealers who distribute heroin, fentanyl or opioids that cause death or serious injury to users.
