The President and CEO of Ford Motor Company, Fields was born in Brooklyn, and earned an MBA from Harvard and a degree in economics from Rutgers University. He graduated from Paramus High School in 1979.
He has been CEO with Ford since July 1, 2014 before running Mazda Motor Corporation for Ford. At Mazda, he became the first Jewish CEO of a major automobile manufacturer outside France, and the youngest to run a major Japanese company.
In 2002, he became chairmen of the Premier Auto Group, which included Lincoln, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo brands.
He and his wife Jane have two sons.
