Yale Condemns Desecration Of Menorah On New Haven Green
City officials and Yale University are speaking out after a masked man climbed a public menorah on the New Haven Green and put a Palestinian flag on the structure. Video of the incident shows a protester dressed in black scaling the menorah and sticking a Palestinian flag on one of the candleholders. Several people, who appear to be fellow protesters, can also be seen and heard telling the person to take the flag down. State Trooper Rear-Ended By Tesla On 'Autopilot' On I-95 In Norwalk
A state patrol cruiser was among two vehicles hit by a Tesla driving in autopilot on a busy stretch of Interstate 95 in Fairfield County. It happened on Saturday morning, Dec. 7 on the northbound side near Exit 15 in Norwalk, Connecticut State Police said. Two police cars responded to a disabled vehicle in the left-center lane when the incident occurred. The troopers activated their emergency lights and set up a flare pattern behind the cruisers while waiting for a tow truck for the disabled vehicle. How 22-Year-Old Staples HS Grad Will Help Shake Up State Senate
Will Haskell, who announced his State Senate candidacy during his senior year of college, ran on a platform of restoring tolls to highways, paid family leave and tougher gun control laws. On Tuesday, Nov. 6, the 22-year-old Haskell of Westport toppled Toni Boucher of Wilton, a Republican who has served in the state legislature since 1997 including the 26th Senate District — nearly as long as Haskell has been alive.
