36-Year-Old Faces Multiple Charges After Dispute With Another Man In New Canaan An aggressive man who fought with someone parked on a busy area street became combative with officers attempting to take him into custody and refused to be fingerprinted or photographed, police said. Officers from the New Canaan Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Elm Street and South Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, where there was a report of a dispute between two men.
