Duo Beats, Robs 75-Year-Old In His Bridgeport Backyard, Police Say
Two men are accused of beating and robbing a 75-year-old man outside his Fairfield County home.
The incident happened Thursday, Nov. 16, in Bridgeport at a home on East Main Street, according to Bridgeport Police.
Both men approached the victim with their hands in their pockets, motioning that they had a gun, police said.
They allegedly punched the victim and pushed him against a dumpster before stealing his wallet.
The victim suffered a minor head injury in the ordeal.

A man who allegedly beat another person so badly he remains in the hospital on a ventilator with a brain bleed has been arrested by police.
Ohireime Julian Osemobor, age 29, was arrested on Sunday, June 6, by Stamford Police for the violent assault of the 66-year-old man which took place around 10 p.m., on Saturday, May 29, said Stamford PD Captain Richard Conklin.
