Men Caught With Pound Of Pot After Stop For Tinted Windows, Police Say
Two Norwalk men were arrested after being busted with a pound of marijuana during a traffic stop in New Canaan, police said.
An officer from the New Canaan Police Department on patrol at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4 stopped a vehicle driven by Norwalk resident Steve Louis Barona for having illegally tinted windows.
During the subsequent traffic stop, while speaking with Barona, the officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle, in which Aziz Estaban Velez, 24, of Norwalk, was a passenger.
