Westport Police Catch Three Shoplifters With Goods, Tools Westport police nabbed three people for shoplifting after an employee notified authorities that they were stealing items and putting them in a vehicle parked outside, according to Westport Police. The arrests took place around 3:15 p.m. May 25 when officers were dispatched to a Main Street retailer on a report of shoplifting, Westport Police said. When officers arrived, the employee provided the license plate of the vehicle and descriptions of the three people involved.
