Lord & Taylor Smash-Grab Robbers Make Off With $80K In Rolexes In Stamford Police are searching for two men who used a sledgehammer to smash open a jewelry case at a high-end department store and made off with some $80,000 in Rolex watches. The incident took place around 5:44 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the Lord & Taylor store in Stamford located on High Ridge Road, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.
