Fugitive From Justice Nabbed In Stamford A man on the run from cops in Palm Beach County, Florida for identity theft was nabbed in Stamford following a tip. Gerardo Taboada, 57, was captured around 8:30 a.m. Thursday after Stamford Police received a tip from the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office that he may be living in an apartment, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin. Taboada, who was also serving a probation sentence in Stamford, was quickly located through his probation officer living in a basement apartment on Plymouth Road.
