Car Window Smashed In Parking Lot Of Tennis Club In Darien DARIEN, Conn. -- Someone smashed windows to a car at the Old Kings Highway Tennis Club in Darien on Sunday, police said. The complainant said he parked his car at the club, located on Old Kings Highway North, at around 10:30 a.m. Sunday. When he returned at around noon, he saw that the rear driver's side window was smashed and his glove box was open. The thief had taken six months of pay stubs from the glove box, and two empty bank bags from the back seat, police said. The car had been locked. No other cars in the lot were burglarized, police said.
