Fairfield County Man Nabbed For Home Burglary, Car Theft, Police Say A Fairfield County man was nabbed on a warrant for a burglary and car theft that took place earlier this month. Marcus Vereen of Stratford was arrested Tuesday after investigators found him on Burritt Avenue, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.  According to Eannotti, the department held an active arrest warrant for Vereen for his connection with a residential burglary and stolen car that occurred on Marcroft Street on Aug. 7.  Vereen attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended. Know Him? Police Seek To ID Suspect In Fairfield County Burglary Police are searching for a man considered a person of interest in connection with a residential burglary. The incident took place around 7:50 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, on Marcroft Street in Stratford, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.  A window air conditioner was removed to gain entry into the house. Investigators are looking to identify the man pictured who was seen walking up and down the street prior to the discovery of the burglary, Eannotti said.  Anyone with information is asked 203-385-4100.
