Woman Suffers Seizure While Being Strangled By Boyfriend In Stamford, Police Say Police had to shoot a pit bull during the attempted arrest of a man wanted for a domestic violence assault in which the victim suffered a seizure while being strangled. The incident took place 3 p.m. Sunday when Stamford Police were dispatched to Selleck Street for a report of a serious domestic assault. Upon arrival, officers encountered the 58-year-old victim who said that her boyfriend identified as Lindon Shaw, 49, physically assaulted her, and choked her until she lost consciousness and eventually had a seizure due to the strangulation, said Stamford Police.
