Official In Fairfield County Charged With Murder After Man Found Shot Dead In Home She Owns
A Fairfield County city official has been arrested for the shooting murder of a man who lived at a home she owns. Ellen Wink, age 61, of Norwalk, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 20, and charged with the murder of 54-year-old Kurt Lametta, who lived at the Nelson Avenue home where he was found shot to death, said Lieutenant Terrence Blake, of the Norwalk Police. Wink is Norwalk's Republican deputy registrar of voters who previously served as city clerk from 2009 to 2011.
