Three Shot By Unknown Assailant In Bridgeport, Police Say Bridgeport police are working to untangle clues in the case of three people ages, 16 to 23, who were shot in the area of Howard Place. Police first received a report of the shooting around 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, on Howard Place between Howard Avenue and Denver Avenue, said spokesman Av Harris. When police arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy shot in the mouth (through and through), along with an 18-year-old woman who was shot in the back of her left shoulder, and a 23-year-old man shot in the right hand and left buttocks, Harris said.
