Man Wanted For Norwalk Smash-Grab Incidents Admits To New Canaan Commercial Burglary A wanted man was taken into custody after turning himself in for allegedly committing smash-and-grab commercial burglaries earlier this year in Fairfield County, police said. Jimil Gaskins, 25, of Norwalk, turned himself in on an active arrest warrant for burglary at the New Canaan Police Department late on Friday, Aug. 2. Officers from the New Canaan Police Department responded to Green & Tonic on Burtis Avenue at approximately 11 p.m. on Feb. 12, where there wasn’t active burglary alarm, and a window was smashed with a rock.
