CT Vehicle Stop Leads To Ghost Gun Arrest A 22-year-old Connecticut man was allegedly nabbed with a loaded ghost gun after being stopped for speeding.  New Haven resident Juan Garcia, was charged around 2:15 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 18 on South Main Street in Naugatuck. During the stop, Naugatuck Police Officers said Garcia appeared to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs and was charged with DUI after failing sobriety tests, police said. Stratford Brothers Throw Assault Rifle Out Car Window Fleeing Traffic Stop, Police Say Two Fairfield County brothers have been arrested for allegedly throwing an illegal assault rifle out of a car window while fleeing from a traffic stop. Charlie Echevarria, age 28, and Moses Echevarria, age 24, both of Stratford, were arrested on Lenox Avenue on Sunday, June 11, said Lt. Robert Burroughs, of the Stratford Police. Burroughs said the arrest stems from an incident on Tuesday, May 23 when while fleeing from police they threw a duffel bag out the car window that contained an assault rifle. Ghost Gun Found At CT High School Following Fight Three students were arrested following a fight at a Connecticut high school in which a loaded ghost gun was found. The fight took place in Litchfield County in New Milford around 9:20 a.m., Tuesday, April 26 at New Milford High School. Police Asking Public For Help In Fairfield County Shooting Incident Police are asking the public for help regarding a shooting incident in which a residence and a vehicle were hit by gunfire in Fairfield County. The shooting took place on Saturday, May 22, on Avo Street in Stratford in the area of High Park. Police have determined that a stolen Honda CRV, was used during the shooting where a group of juveniles were using the park, said Stratford PD Captain Frank Eannotti.
