Bridgeport K-9 Officer, Dog Injured During Crash, Police Say A Bridgeport K9 officer and her police dog, K9 Uno, were injured during a crash with another vehicle. The crash took place around 10:17 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, at the intersection of State and Yale streets, said Bridgeport Police Spokesman Terron Jones. An investigation found that Officer Marie Cetti was traveling in the right eastbound lane when her cruiser was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox traveling southbound from Yale Street, police said. Porter is the happy recipient of a new bullet and stab protective vest, which was donated from Vested Interest in K9s, a not-for-profit organization. The vest was sponsored by a fundraiser hosted by Kim Dance in Harwington and is expected to be ready for the state police dog within eight to 10 weeks.
