Three-Alarm Condo Fire Breaks Out, Closing Several Roads In Stamford Several area roadways are closed as firefighters are on the scene of a three-alarm fire at a large condominium complex. The fire started around 3 p.m., Monday, March 2, at 180 Board St., at the Parc Grove West complex in Stamford, police said. The department said that Broad Street is closed and motorists are asked to avoid the area of Greyrock, Franklin and Grove Street until further notice. ID Released For Man Caught Minutes After Robbing Bank In Stamford, Police Say A man who was nabbed within minutes of robbing a Stamford bank has been identified by police. Charles Redshirt, 35, of Stamford, was arrested by police in just 8 minutes after robbing the First Bank of Greenwich at 900 Summer St., around 12:50 p.m. Monday, said the Stamford Police Department. Officers Christopher Festa and John McClafferty arrived on scene less than a minute from the initial call.
