Police: Sex Offender, 63, Exposes Himself In Front Of Women, Children A registered sex offender was nabbed for sitting on a bench at a popular trail exposing himself in front of children and others, according to the Hamden Police. The incident took place around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday when the Hamden Police responded to the Farmington Canal Trail on the report of an indecent exposure, said Capt. Ronald Smith. A 27-year-old Meriden resident told police that she was riding her bicycle on the trail when she saw a male, seated on a bench with his genitals exposed, Smith said.
