Woman Accused Of Killing Her Roommate In Florida Found Living In CT: Police
A Florida woman who is accused of killing her roommate just after Christmas 2022 was arrested this week in Connecticut, authorities said. Gisselle Victoria-Gonzalez, age 42, was busted in Hartford on Wednesday, Nov. 6 on an extradition warrant out of Orlando, the police blotter said. She is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Runyleidy Medina-Pacheco, also 42, Orlando Police said. Third Death From Listeria Outbreak Linked To Boar's Head Deli Meat
A person from Virginia has become the third person to die during an ongoing Listeria food poisoning outbreak linked to millions of pounds of Boar's Head deli meats that were recalled. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued an update on Thursday, Aug. 8 advising that there have been nine more cases reported in connection to the recall, bringing the total to 43 hospitalized - three of which who died, including one from Virginia. A man was arrested for allegedly stealing packages containing more than $8,000 in Apple products from several porches in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Trumbull around 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4. Lt. A Connecticut woman welcomed her baby into the world in an unexpected location. Hartford resident Kendria Rhoden, age 21, was on a flight from New York City to the Dominican Republic in September after she was cleared to fly by her doctor at 32 weeks pregnant, the New York Post reported. Netflix Is About To Start Charging You To Share Your Password
Sharing your Netflix password will soon come with a price. Starting in early 2023, Netflix will allow only one "home account" and charge for every "sub account" added to that account — up to five, the company announced. The new payment plan was rolled out as an experiment in Argentina, Dominican Republic, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, where customers paid $2.99 to add a sub account.
