12 Students, Two Teachers Hospitalized Due To 'Airborne Irritant' In CT Classroom Twelve students and two teachers in Connecticut experienced watery eyes and scratchy throats after a classroom was contaminated with a defensive spray, school officials said.  The incident happened at the New Haven Public Schools on the morning of Thursday, May 19, in a classroom at Wexler-Grant School, according to a NHPS representative.
