Employees Catch Man Walking Out Of Darien Library With Stolen Laptop, Police Say A 41-year-old man was arrested after being busted stealing a laptop from the Darien Public Library and attempting to store it in a USPS mailbox. Officers from the Darien Police Department responded to the library on Post Road shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 26, following reports of a stolen laptop. Police said that the suspect, who was later identified as Andrew Taylor of Seattle told investigators that he took the laptop, but put it into a blue deposit box near the library.
