CT Man Caught With Heroin, Crack Was Carrying Loaded Gun, Feds Say
A federal grand jury has returned an indictment against a Connecticut man charging him with narcotics distribution and firearm possession offenses.
Ronnell Rogers, 27, of New Haven, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 28, and entered a not guilty plea during a court appearance and was ordered to be held without bail, said John Durham, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
As alleged in the indictment, on Sunday, Jan. 17, Rogers possessed distribution quantities of heroin and crack cocaine, and a loaded Smith & Wesson .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol.

A Connecticut man has been sentenced to 36 months in prison for the distribution of fentanyl and crack cocaine.
Nathaniel DeJesus, age 21, of Hartford, was sentenced to the prison term followed by four years of supervised release on Monday, Jan. 25, said John H. Durham, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

CT Trio Charged With Trafficking Fentanyl
Three Connecticut men were indicted for selling a large amount of fentanyl, which they stored in a West Hartford apartment, after allegedly selling drugs to undercover Hartford Police and FBI agents multiple times between August and October of 2020.
Kyle "Bark" Pitts of West Hartford, 37, Curon "Buck" Johnson of East Hartford, 31, and Jabari Walcott A.K.A. Connecticut's 'Main' Crack, Oxycodone Dealer Gets Six Years In Prison
The leader of a New Haven crack cocaine and oxycodone drug ring has been sentenced to six years in federal prison.
Jermayne Butler - aka: “Main,” “Main Live,” “Liver” - age 39, of New Haven, was sentenced Monday, Aug. 10 to 78 months in federal prison followed by four years of supervised release, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Connecticut.
In August of 2019, Butler pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute, and to possess with intent to distribute, cocaine base “cack,” the Attorney’s Office said. Butler has been released on a $200,000 bond and is to report to prison in 90 days. …
