Anna Lee Halderman, 28, of Norwalk, turned herself into police on Saturday, Aug. 17, on charges of indecent exposure for allegedly taking off her bathing suit on Monday, July 15, at Compo Beach, said the Westport Police Department. Most recently, the contraption, which serves as an homage to Westport’s former Remarkable Book Shop, has returned to Compo Beach. Constructed by Staples graduate Ryan Peterson, the Remarkable Bookcycle was built as a mobile double-sided library that offers free books to all those who come across it.
