Stamford Woman, Age 27, Faces Multiple Charges After Fleeing Attempted Stop, Police Say A Connecticut woman is in trouble for leading authorities on a chase after they attempted to pull her over in Westchester County, police said.  On Monday, Nov. 28, around 8:45 a.m., police attempted to pull over a vehicle on Interstate 95 southbound in Rye for a traffic violation. After the vehicle failed to stop, a chase began, according to New York State Police.  The vehicle then eventually left I-95 at exit 18B in White Plains and briefly pulled over on the right shoulder before again driving off, police said. Fugitive Driving Stolen Truck Nabbed After I-95 Crash A wanted fugitive took troopers on a brief chase in an allegedly stolen pickup truck on I-95 while on drugs before crashing in Westchester, New York State Police said. Troopers stopped a driver at approximately 12:35 p.m. on Friday, April 24 on I-95 in Rye, when Portland, Maine, resident Paul Grandmaison, 41, committed a traffic violation. Police said that before troopers could even approach the vehicle during the subsequent traffic stop, Grandmaison sped away and a brief pursuit took place, at which point he crashed into an embankment in the area of Hillside Road and Ridge Street in Rye. …
