STAMFORD, Conn. The Southern Connecticut Synchronized Skating team will hold tryouts in February and March at Terry Conners Rink in Stamford. Girls ages 6-19 are encouraged to compete for a spot on the team.
Skaters working on Basic 5 or higher level skills can tryout for the Sprites, a beginner team, on Feb. 28 and March 8. Pre-preliminary skaters can try out for the Shimmers on Feb. 27 and March 5. Girls 12-and-up who are working on jvenile or higher skills can try out for the Shadows on March 2 and March 6. Age requirements and space availability dictate the formation of each team.
