STAMFORD, Conn. — Three men have been arrested in the shooting death of a 43-year-old Stamford woman late Monday in a city park, police said.
Jhonel Telemin, 21, was charged with first-degree murder, and Deshawn Hayes, 24, and Morris Joel Moore Jr., 23, were charged with conspiracy to murder after the shooting death, which occurred at about 10 p.m. in Lione Park.
The victim was shot in the torso and taken to Stamford Hospital, where she later died, police said.
The three were arrested in their vehicle on Strawberry Hill near the Tully Health Center, police said.
