Teen Shot In The Back Near Stamford's Westover School

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford police were looking for suspects after a 19-year-old man was shot in the back late Friday afternoon, according to a report in The Stamford Advocate.

The victim, who was reported to be in stable condition, was driven to the hospital by a good Samaritan, police told The Stamford Advocate.

The shooting occurred near Westover Elementary School on the city’s West Side, the Advocate said.
