Suspect Arrested In Car Smashing Incident In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. — A New York woman was arrested in Stamford after being suspected of smashing her car into her ex-boyfriend’s car Sunday night, Sgt. Paul Vaccaro said.

The two had been arguing earlier in the night at the victim’s residence and he left, Vaccaro said. The accident took place in the parking lot of the Pet Smart on West Side, he said.

No injuries were reported, Vaccaro said.

The suspect, Monique Tilman, 21, of Ocean Side, N.Y., was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace and attempt to commit second-degree assault, police said.
