Stamford Police: Woman Spots Man Fondling Himself In Vehicle

STAMFORD, Conn. -- A woman had a bird's eye view of a man allegedly masturbating in a vehicle Sunday evening, police said.

Stamford Police are investigating the death of an 84-year-old woman who was hit by her own car Tuesday afternoon.

The woman called Stamford Police after she spotted the incident on Grenhart Road just before 7 p.m. from her second floor residence, police said. The man left the scene before officers arrived, police said.

The woman said similar incidents have occurred before and that she had shot video of the man, which she showed to officers, police said.

"They saw the actions taking place, but they couldn't conform who it was at the time because it appeared that his face was covered," police Sgt. Robert Shawinsky said.

The vehicle was registered to a West Haven woman but police have not made an arrest in connection with the incent, Shawinsky said.
