STAMFORD, Conn. -- A woman had an unusual explanation for officers on why she gave them her sister's name when she was arrested early Wednesday, according to Stamford police: She said she did so because her sister was always using her name.
While processing the woman on charges of operating under the influence, failing to register a motor vehicle and failing to insure a motor vehicle, officers thought they were dealing with Taryna Jamison, police said. However, they discovered it was in reality Tiffany Wills, according to police.
Wills said she gave police that name because she said her sister was always going under her name, police said.
In addition to the original charges, officers also charged Wills with criminal impersonation, police said.
